The Wallet is RankGood's pay-per-use credit system. It covers overage charges when you exceed your plan's included usage and pays for on-demand services like managed posting.

How the Wallet Works

Your wallet is a prepaid credit balance. When you use more than your plan includes (e.g., you run a 31st opportunity scan when your plan includes 30), the overage cost is deducted from your wallet balance.

If your wallet does not have sufficient funds, the action is blocked and you are prompted to add credits.

Adding Credits

Manual Top-Up

  1. Navigate to Settings > Billing (or click Add Funds on the wallet card).

  2. Select a top-up amount:

  1. Complete payment through Stripe.

  2. Credits are added to your wallet immediately.

Larger top-ups include bonus credits as shown above.

Auto-Reload

Set up auto-reload so your wallet is automatically refilled when the balance drops too low:

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Wallet.

  2. Enable Auto-Reload.

  3. Set your threshold — the balance at which auto-reload triggers (default: $10.00).

  4. Set your reload amount — how much to add each time (default: $50.00).

  5. Ensure you have a saved payment method.

When your balance drops below the threshold, RankGood automatically charges your payment method and adds the reload amount to your wallet.

Viewing Transaction History

Your wallet transaction history shows every credit and debit:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Billing > Wallet.

  2. Scroll to Transaction History.

Each transaction shows:

  • Date and time

  • Type (top-up or deduction)

  • Amount

  • Reason (e.g., "SEO scan overage", "manual top-up", "auto-reload")

  • Balance after transaction

Wallet for Agency Users

For agency plans, the wallet is shared across the organization:

  • The wallet balance belongs to the organization, not individual users.

  • All team members use the same wallet when performing actions.

  • Only agency admins can add credits or configure auto-reload.

  • Transaction history shows which team member triggered each deduction.

Checking Your Balance

Your current wallet balance is visible:

  • On the Dashboard (in the wallet card)

  • In Settings > Billing

  • Before any action that requires wallet credits (a confirmation dialog shows the cost and your current balance)
