What It Does

The Pain Extractor:

  • Searches Reddit for discussions related to your product or market

  • Uses AI to analyze posts and comments for expressed frustrations, complaints, and unmet needs

  • Clusters similar pain points into themes

  • Provides sentiment analysis and supporting quotes

This helps you understand what problems potential customers face, so you can tailor your marketing, product development, and engagement strategy.

Tips for Best Results

  • Be specific with subreddits. Targeting 2–5 highly relevant subreddits produces more focused results than scanning broad subreddits.

  • Use keywords to narrow scope. If a subreddit covers many topics, adding keywords helps filter for relevant discussions.

  • Run extractions regularly. Pain points evolve over time. Run monthly extractions to track shifts in customer sentiment.

  • Compare across products. If you manage multiple products, run extractions for each to see how pain points differ.
