Opportunity Radar — Find Engagement Opportunities
The Opportunity Radar scans Reddit, Facebook, and optionally YouTube to find high-value conversations where your brand can meaningfully engage. It identifies trending discussions, feature requests, and posts where your product is the answer to someone's question.

What It Does
The Opportunity Radar:
Scans multiple platforms for discussions related to your product
Uses AI to score each opportunity by relevance and engagement potential
Identifies rising trends and declining ones
Flags time-sensitive conversations that need quick action
Discovers feature requests and competitive gaps
Timing is critical in social engagement — finding opportunities before your competitors gives you a significant advantage.
Running an Opportunity Scan
Navigate to Opportunity Radar from the sidebar.
Select your target subreddits and keywords.
Optionally enable Facebook groups or YouTube scanning (if you have these set up).
Click Scan for Opportunities.

The scan typically takes 1–3 minutes depending on the number of sources and keywords.
Understanding the Results
Opportunity Cards
Each discovered opportunity is displayed as a card with key information:

Opportunity Types
The Radar categorizes opportunities into types:
Direct Match — Someone is asking for exactly what your product does
Feature Request — A feature request that your product already fulfills
Competitive Gap — Someone is unhappy with a competitor, creating an opening for you
Trend — A rising topic in your market that you should be part of
Support Thread — Someone needs help in your area of expertise
Filtering and Sorting
Use the filter controls to narrow results by:
Platform (Reddit, Facebook, YouTube)
Relevance score threshold
Opportunity type
Date range
Sort by relevance, recency, or engagement level.
Taking Action on Opportunities
When you find a promising opportunity:
Click the opportunity to expand it and see the full post content and comments.
Click Generate Response to jump to the Engagement Studio with this post pre-loaded.
Or click Save to bookmark it for later.

Scheduled Scans
Instead of running manual scans, you can set up automatic scheduled scans:
Go to Opportunity Radar > Scheduled Scans (or navigate to Settings > Scheduled Scans).
Click Create Schedule.
Configure the scan parameters (subreddits, keywords, frequency).
Set the schedule — daily, every few days, or weekly.
Enable the schedule.
When a scheduled scan completes, you will receive a notification with a summary of new opportunities found.

Usage & Limits
Each Opportunity Radar scan counts against your Opportunity Scan quota:
Overages are charged at $2.00 per scan from your wallet balance.
Tips for Best Results
Target specific subreddits. Quality over quantity — 3–5 focused subreddits outperform 15 broad ones.
Act quickly on rising trends. The Radar highlights rising discussions for a reason — early engagement gets more visibility.
Set up scheduled scans. Automated scans ensure you never miss time-sensitive opportunities.
Combine with Engagement Studio. Use the "Generate Response" button to seamlessly create authentic responses.
