AI Visibility Competitors

Track how your competitors appear in AI platform responses alongside your brand. Competitor tracking in AI Visibility lets you benchmark your performance and identify where competitors are being recommended instead of you.

Adding Competitors

  1. Navigate to AI Visibility > Competitors.

  2. Click Add Competitor.

  3. Enter the competitor's brand name and website URL.

  4. Click Save.

When you run an AI Visibility scan, RankGood will check whether the competitor is mentioned in the same responses where your brand is (or isn't) mentioned.


What You Can See

Competitor Visibility Scores

Each competitor gets the same metrics as your brand:

  • Overall visibility score

  • Platform-by-platform breakdown

  • Mention rate across your tracked prompts

Per-Prompt Comparison

For each tracked prompt, see whether the AI mentioned you, the competitor, both, or neither. This reveals exactly which queries your competitor is winning on.


Using Competitor Data

  • Find your gaps. If a competitor is mentioned on prompts where you are not, those are optimization targets.

  • Identify your strengths. Prompts where you appear and they do not are your competitive advantages.

  • Track progress. Monitor how the comparison changes over time as you optimize your content and brand presence.


Impact on Scan Costs

Each competitor added increases the analysis work per scan. Keep this in mind when planning your scan frequency and budget.
